Recipe for 2 loaves of bread... Mix together dry ingredients: 5 1/4 cup flour (you can do 2c. white and 3 1/4 cup wheat) 1/4 cup sugar 1 1/2 tsp. salt 1 1/2 TBSP. yeast Then add: 1/8 cup oil 2 cups hot water Mix for 1 minute and then add more water or flour as needed. Mix for 5 minutes. Spray counter with cooking spray and turn dough onto work surface and briefly knead. Cut in half and then form the dough in the shape you want...long and skinny for french bread or short and fat for a regular loaf pan size. Put dough in prepared pan and cover with a dish towel. Let rise for 25 minutes. Then bake at 350 for 25 minutes.
