Mix 1 tsp. baking soda & 1 tsp. vinegar, let set. Cream 1 1/2 C. Sugar 1/2 C. Butter 2 eggs Make paste of 2 tsp. cocoa and food coloring. Add to cream mixture, then add leftover food coloring. 1 C. Buttermilk 1 tsp. Salt 2 1/2 C. Cake Flour 2 tsp. Vanilla After mixing, add vinegar mixture. Put in two greased round pans. Bake @ 350 for 30 minutes. Frosting 1 C. Milk 3 Tbs. Flour Cook until thick, stirring constantly. Cool completely! Cream 1 C. Sugar and 1 C. Butter until really fluffy. Add 1 Tbs. Vanilla and 1 Tbs. Flour Add cooled mixture, beating constantly.
